This Privacy Policy describes how Yaad (“the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application.
1. Overview
Yaad is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App works entirely offline and does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use its core features.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Yaad does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- Login credentials or account information
- The reminders, tasks, photos, or voice notes you create in the App
- Your location
- Any personal data tied to an identifiable individual
All reminders, photos, task titles, dates, and adherence history you create in Yaad are stored only on your device, in local storage. This data is never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party, and we do not have access to it.
3. Information Collected by Third-Party Advertising
Yaad is a free app supported by advertising. To display ads, we use Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service.
Ad networks like AdMob may automatically collect certain technical information to serve and measure ads, which may include:
- Device identifiers (such as advertising ID)
- General device information (device type, operating system)
- Approximate location (derived from IP address, not precise GPS)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This information is collected and processed by the ad network according to their own privacy policy, not by Yaad directly. We recommend reviewing Google’s policies for more detail:
You may be able to limit ad personalization through your device’s settings (e.g., “Opt out of Ads Personalization” in Android Settings > Privacy).
4. Permissions the App May Request
Yaad may request the following device permissions, used solely to support the App’s core features:

| Camera / Photo Gallery | To let you attach a photo to a reminder (e.g., a photo of medicine). Photos are stored locally on your device only. |
| Notifications | To send you local reminder alerts at the times you set. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device. |
| Microphone (if voice notes are enabled) | To let you record an optional voice note for a reminder. Voice notes are stored locally on your device only. |
None of the data accessed through these permissions is transmitted off your device by Yaad.
5. Children’s Privacy
Yaad is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personal information from any user, this applies equally across all age groups.
6. Data Security
Because all of your reminder data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us, the security of that data depends on your device’s own security settings (such as screen lock). We encourage you to keep your device secured.
7. Your Choices
- You can delete any reminder, photo, or voice note directly within the App at any time.
- Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data associated with it.
- You can limit ad tracking through your device’s ad settings, as noted in Section 3.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
